Illustration Friday - Stay

Oh, just sittin' here, stayin' on the stairs. Good times.
It's like one of those awkward photos when your estranged uncle gets a new camera and takes photos of everyone.

I'd like to also mention that coloring a picture while envisioning multiple light sources without a reference can be mentally draining. There's probably some errors due to this.

    I like that you took the time to add little details that make the setting seem grounded and believable. Those shoes under the desk are a wonderful touch!

    Congrats for being pick of the week! This painting does remind me of visiting Grandma's and the odd uncle snapping photos. Nice job :)

    There's a wonderful vintage feel to this, probably the brown ink helps with that. The argyle sweater is priceless! It's as if he's dressed and ready for a fox hunt...um, but I think not!

    There is something very close to the old victorian children book here. I really like it. Drawing is excellent and the perspective is cool too.

    Hi, Are you the artist that painted the dog and cat piano duet? I found it on MSWord Clip art. If so, I am a composer and have written a piano duet, Children's Fantasy.I would be very happy to obtain permission to use that painting on the cover of the book. Thank you.

    Hi Larry,
    OK, I am now sure that you painted the clip-art image of the dog and cat piano duet. (2001). When I enlarged it, I was able to see a panda "ghost" in the upper right hand corner. I don't give up easily. Any chance of using it with your permission? cpapierniak2004@yahoo.com
